This very popular Thai/Chinese dish is made with our Sirin Farm Kurobuta Pork knuckle, braised for hours in a blend of five spice mix, rice wine and soya sauce, it’s a truly decadent dish fit for a small family feast. Perfect for any occasion, just take it out the freezer, leave it to thaw and follow the cooking instructions below.
Cooking Instructions: Leave to thaw overnight first, or just simply place the entire bag into a pot of hot water for approximately 35-40 mins until the contents are completely warmed through. Best enjoyed with our chili sauce (included in the purchase), some blanched Chinese Kale and some jasmine rice.
Can be stored in the freezer (-18C or colder) for up to 6 months. When ready to use slowly thaw overnight in refrigerator or defrost in a microwave , then keep stored chilled (0-4 C) until consumed. Advisable to consume within 2-3 days of thawing.
